Why do you want to be an ASA Ambassador?

I absolutely love being involved in the snowmobile community and I recently took on the role as treasurer/secretary for our local sled club this year. I want to encourage more people to volunteer with their local clubs, as there is so much involved in keeping these trails maintained and rideable! I want to be able to motivate other women to follow their passion for sledding whether you're a ditch banger, trail rider or back country rider, I'm here to cheer you on! Growing up I never got to see many women ride sleds so seeing how much the female community is dominating in this industry over the last couple years has been amazing!

How long have you been riding?

I have been riding sleds for as long as I've been walking; roughly 25 years on and off. My dad introduced me to the sport when I was a kid and I've loved it ever since.

What is something we should know about you?

A couple things about me: I am an outdoors enthusiast, I absolutely love being in nature and it's where I find peace.

I'm also a picture taking junkie. I'm all about documenting all the memories and moments! I'm also a "more the merrier" type of person so if you ever want to bomb some trails in Alberta don't be afraid to reach out!

What was your first machine?

I learned how to ride on a Kitty Cat but my first sled was a 1999 Yamaha Phazer.

What are you riding now?

I ride a 2011 Skidoo Summit 800, AKA "Luna"

Where is your favourite place in Alberta to ride?

Over the last couple years I have fallen in love with the riding in southern Alberta in particular the Crows Nest Pass area. I also love riding our local David Thompson Snow Riders trail in Eckville!
