Conditions of Sale of Membership, Adult:
CONDITIONS OF SALE OF MEMBERSHIP
As a member of the Alberta Snowmobile Association (“ASA”), I agree to the
following terms and conditions:
1. This is an application for a Membership with the ASA.
2. Upon receipt of a completed copy of this form, or upon receipt of a request for a
Trail Pass received electronically or through the mail or phone, and payment of
any fees, the ASA will issue me a decal, which will enable me, subject to the
terms herein, to have access to authorized snowmobile trails. The ASA reserves
the right to refuse any application for a Membership and to revoke any
Membership issued by it at any time.
3. Notwithstanding the issuance of a decal, the ASA reserves the right to refuse
entry on any snowmobile trails at any time.
4. My use of the snowmobile trails is subject to the following conditions:
a) I must have in my possession a copy of the decal issued to me by the ASA or
the pink copy of the membership form;
b) I must ax the decal issued to me by the ASA on the lower left side of my
snowmobile windshield;
c) I agree to obey all trail signs and abide by all applicable bylaws, laws and
regulations, including always carrying valid vehicle registration and proof of
insurance,and any rules
d) I agree to report any danger or damages to any snowmobile trails or any
property thereon as soon as possible to the nearest ASA snowmobile club.
e) I agree that the sport of snowmobiling is inherently dangerous, exposing
participants to many risks and hazards, only some of which are foreseeable.
f) I freely and voluntarily assume all of the aforesaid risks and hazards, and that
accordingly my use of the ASA Trails shall be entirely at my own risk.
g) I have carefully read the Membership Application Conditions of Sale including
the privacy terms and conditions below and fully understand the same.
h) I have carefully read the terms and conditions of this Membership and fully
understand the same.
5. I hereby covenant and agree to release and forever discharge and save harmless
and keep their respective heirs, agents, successors and assigns of and from any
and all liability, loss, injury, disability, death or damage of and from any and all
causes of action, suits, debts, damages, costs, claims and demands of any kind
whatsoever (including claims for indemnity and including costs on a
solicitor/client basis) which against ASA or the land owners/occupiers, or any or
all of them, which I have, or which I hereafter may have, for, or by reason of, or
arising out of any accident, loss, injury, disability, death or damage occurring
during the course of my use of a snowmobile trail.
The Alberta Snowmobile Association (“ASA”) will collect, use, retain and disclose
your person information to provide your membership benets; to communicate
with your about ASA products and services and other items (including the products
and services of third parties) that the ASA believes that you may be interested in; to
carry out ASA internal management activities; to enable the ASA’s third-party
insurer providing accidental death and dismemberment member coverage to
communicate with you; to perform demographic and market research; and in the
event you are a member of a club to communicate with your club to ensure the
records of the ASA and your club are consistent.

Conditions of Day Pass Sale:
CONDITIONS OF SALE OF DAY PASS
As a member of the Alberta Snowmobile Association (“ASA”), I agree to the
following terms and conditions:
1. This is an application for a Day Pass with the ASA.
2. Upon receipt of a completed copy of this form, or upon receipt of a request for a
Day Pass received electronically or through the mail or phone, and payment of
any fees, the ASA will enable me, subject to the terms herein, to have access to
authorized snowmobile trails for the day noted on form. The ASA reserves the
right to refuse any application for a Day Pass and to revoke any Day Pass issued
by it at any time.
3. Notwithstanding the issuance of a day pass to me, the ASA reserves the right to
refuse entry on any snowmobile trails at any time.
4. My use of the snowmobile trails is subject to the following conditions:
a) I must have in my possession a copy of the day pass form or email receipt
issued to me by the ASA;
b) I understand that this day pass is only to be used for one day, as listed on the
day pass form
c) I agree to obey all trail signs and abide by all applicable bylaws, laws and
regulations, including always carrying valid vehicle registration and proof of
insurance,and any rules
d) I agree to report any danger or damages to any snowmobile trails or any
property thereon as soon as possible to the nearest ASA snowmobile club.
e) I agree that the sport of snowmobiling is inherently dangerous, exposing
participants to many risks and hazards, only some of which are foreseeable.
f) I freely and voluntarily assume all of the aforesaid risks and hazards, and that
accordingly my use of the ASA Trails shall be entirely at my own risk.
g) I have carefully read the Day Pass Application Conditions of Sale including the
privacy terms and conditions below and fully understand the same.
h) I have carefully read the terms and conditions of this Day Pass and fully
understand the same.

plate compliance monitoring, and DO NOT require a Kananaskis
Conservation Pass (KCP). Visitors will still be required to purchase the KCP if
they choose to park elsewhere within the KCP area.
